FAQs
How long will my Kit/Teamwear take to arrive?
This depends upon a multitude of factors. Although we do not have any minimum order, smaller orders will not be sent to our suppliers until we have a carriage paid order going to them. This is beacuse we are usually charged a small order fee. We do usually send one order a week to each of our suppliers and so the order will not be held up for too long.
Once an order is placed with a supplier the goods usually take about ten working days to come in. This is because most of the suppliers warehouses are based oversea's and the goods take about 6 days in transit.
Once the goods are in they will be despatched immediately if no printing is required. Please note that goods will only be despatched when paid for in full.
How long does it take to print items?
Kits are printed on a first come basis. No kit will be be printed until its is paid for in full. Printing is usually done within 5 working days of recieving the Goods.
However, for this to happen then the printing instructions must be supplied in the correct format in order for us to prepare the print at the time of order. Failure to do this will result in a delay in the printing time.
Please note that due to high demand during the summer months this lead time can increase in a matter of days.
Once again please note that although we do not have a minimum order policy, goods that require very small items of print will be held until another item(s) are being done so that we use a cost effective amount of material.
How long will my Goalkeepers Glove take to arrive?
As long as your Goalkeeper gloves are in stock they will be sent out that day. All free delivery gloves are sent out by Royal Mail on the first class service. At Christmas time this service can take slightly longer. We can place the Gloves on an overnight service which costs an additional £2 but will not arrive on a Saturday.
If your Gloves are not in stock then we will have to order them in. Again we will wait until we have a carriage paid order for the Supplier for this. Gloves usually take no longer than 10 days to come in.
How much is the Embroidery Set Up?
If you send us a hard copy of the embroidery that you want set up then we can give you a price for the set up and individual costing within 24 hours. Most badges cost between £40-£60 to set up. This makes the individual stitching cost for each badge between £2-£3.50. If a badge is particularly intricate with Crests and Castles for instance, then it will be more expensive to set up (between £80-£100) and cost more for each badge (over £4).
How long does the Embroidery take?
We usually can turn the Embroidery around in a week. However, we do have a minimum order quantity for Embroidery. There is a minimum of eight units required for each order so as to make it more cost effective. We can and will do smaller orders but these will only be done once everything else is and so during busier times this will increase the order time.
What is held in Stock?
We do not hold any of the Kits or Teamwear that we supply in stock. We have Samples for sizing and to view but very few full Team Kits. We do have some for emergencies but not many. We hold a large stock of Goalkeepers Gloves and Equipment but not everything that we advertise. We also supply some of the basic rugby equipment such as Pads, Shorts, Boots, Studs and other items as well as samples of Kits we have done.
We also stock balls, training equipment and match day items. However, at certain times of year these are incredibly hard to keep in stock.
If you have any queries then please telephone the store you want to pick the goods up from.
How much is delivery?
There are three forms of standard delivery. First Class Royal Mail which is £3.50, this is for items under 1Kg. A charge for up to 5Kg which is £5.50. Finally a £10 charge which is for anything up to 30Kg. These are all for the UK Mainland.
Oversea's delivery charges will be priced at the the time of the quote.
Which Courier do you use?
We mostly use Interlink Express for our Kits and Teamwear. We do also use Parcelforce for our Oversea's deliveries. We use Royal Mail for anything smaller.
What is the best time to order?
We accept orders all year round. However, at certain times of the year we do experience a heavy demand for goods and services. With the supply of Kits and priniting our busy time is July, August and September. If you require a kit for the start of September then you should really order by the last week of July.
At Christmas time our last order date for printed goods to be recieved is the 1st of December. This is to ensure we get everything out as we close over Christmas until the New Year.
For anything required by post the cut of day is the 14th of December as goods sent first class can take up to 10 days!
I have a Sponsor, can you invoice them Direct?
If you have a Sponsor then we can invoice them direct. This allows them to claim any VAT back that might have been charged on the kit. Your sponsor cannot claim VAT from your club as more than likely the Club will not be VAT registered.
We will need all the details at the time of order in order to do this. As soon as we have the details we will send an invoice off to the Sponsor. We will request a Purchase order for this and only when we have this in writing will we order the kit. A proof of print will be sent to the Sponsor and only once this has been approved will we print the kit. Please note as in accordance with our terms & conditions no kit will be printed until paid for in full.
How Should I wash/care my Kit?
It is imperative that the Aftercare instructions of the shirt are followed. Although most shirts/apparell will say to wash at 40 degrees, we always recommend washing at 30 degrees. The Vinyl print that we use on all our shirts and apparell can be washed up to 80 degrees but if the garment says that the temperature can not exceed 40 degrees then do not wash it higher than this as the print will come off.
We also advise against the use of Fabric Softner on the shirts. This spoils the Elasticity of the garment and forces the Print away from the shirt as it breaks down the glue molecules.
Also Shirts which are printed should not be dried on a Radiator. This will crack the print as it is sensisitive to hot temperatures. Also do not place the Kit in aa Tumble Dryer as again this will strip the print.
I live in a non EU Country, do I still pay the VAT. Is this taken off my invoice?
If you fall into this category, then please email us with the details of where we have to ship to and what you need. The VAT will be removed but unfortunetly the discount structure will not apply as it does to normal UK and EU customers.
